Job Description

Carry out all front desk duties as required to include meeting and greeting visitors for client meetings, seminars, training courses and other events

Managing incoming telephone queries/re-directing telephone calls. Responsible for ensuring all messages for clients and staff are forwarded in a timely and professional manner, using good liaison and telephone skills

Be flexible and responsive in carrying out all duties, in some cases aiding the Legal Assistant desk when required

Ensures any outstanding work requests for repairs, maintenance and renovations are followed-up on a regular basis providing an update to interested parties and the HR Manager

Responsible for ordering office supplies; stock control of those supplies

Managing all post and couriers

Accurately records any maintenance requests and buildings faults and ensure these are reported to the appropriate third party supplier and/or the landlord/managing agent.

The successful candidate will:

Exhibit strong English communication skills, both oral and written

Show a proactive approach to tasks and situations

Demonstrate a positive attitude in all aspects of the role, taking personal responsibility and ownership and behaving professionally at all times

Build successful relationships with fee earners to identify individual requirements

Ensure flexibility around contracted working hours, taking full responsibility for meeting the requirements of the role

Take responsibility with regard to team-building and providing a supportive environment to colleagues
