QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications

•·Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Education Technology, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a related field. Preferred: Master’s degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education Technology, or a related field.

•Certification in Learning Technologies (e.g., CPLP, ATD, or similar) or Instructional Design (e.g., ADDIE).

•Familiarity with training technologies and systems used in the aviation industry, such as     aviation simulation programs or compliance-based training platforms.

•Experience managing training programs for a diverse, global workforce, ensuring scalability and local relevance across regions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of cutting-edge training technologies (Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning platforms, mobile apps, VR/AR, and blended learning tools).

•Ensure seamless integration of training technologies across various platforms and systems within the organization. •Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and solutions align with training objectives.

•Develop, implement, and manage innovative learning solutions that are aligned with the organization’s long-term learning and development strategy.

•Direct the creation, customization, and adaptation of training content to fit digital and mobile platforms, ensuring high levels of learner engagement, knowledge retention, and performance outcomes.

•Lead the evaluation and continuous improvement of training technologies, ensuring that solutions remain current and effective based on feedback and evolving business needs.

•Oversee the creation and delivery of blended learning solutions, including instructor-led training, virtual training, self-paced eLearning, and micro-learning modules.

•Lead and manage a diverse team of learning technologists, instructional designers, and other training professionals.

•Ensure that all training programs meet the aviation industry’s regulatory and compliance standards, such as FAA, IATA, or other local aviation authorities. 

•Ensure training programs are aligned with global standards and that they are effectively rolled out to employees across different regions, maintaining consistency in quality and outcomes.

•Utilize learning management systems and other tools to collect, analyse, and report on training metrics, such as engagement, completion rates, skills development, and knowledge transfer.

•Leverage training data to assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives, identify gaps in training, and develop recommendations for continuous improvement.

•Lead change management efforts around new technology deployments and process improvements, ensuring a smooth transition for users and stakeholders.

•Lead and manage a diverse team of learning technologists, instructional designers, and other training professionals.

•Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
