AUTOMATION MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Who are you?

An experienced Automation Maintenance Engineer taking responsibility for maintenance activities within discipline & providing technical support for all aspects of automation fault finding and improvement.

Qualifications:

·         B.S.M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Automation.

·         Good knowledge of operation and maintenance processes in O&G industry.

·         Knowledge of PLC logic and programming (Siemens PCS 7).

·         Knowledge of Schneider and ABB PLCs is a plus.

·         Desirable knowledge of SCADA systems.

·         Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex systems tests.

·         Ability to identify skills gaps and proactively develop own and wider team’s automation knowledge.

·         Good organisational and prioritisation skills.

·         Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an Automation engineer, preferably in the O&G industry.

·         Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Turkish is highly recommended.

·         Computer knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

Job Description:

·         Providing technical support for all aspects of automation fault finding and improvement.

·         Coordinating planned maintenance of automation with engineering and external resources.

·         Collaborating with the Engineering team in relation to PLC, HMI and control system upgrades.

·         Identifying and coordinating automation training opportunities for themselves and engineering maintenance team.

·         Supporting the Engineering team in developing the obsolescence strategy for the existing automation systems

·         Updating / improving existing automation systems.

·         Participating in Automation project teams to achieve the agreed project outcomes.

·         Maintaining a high level of housekeeping within all automation areas.

·         Planning and carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

·         Responding to emergencies.

·         Troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and testing repairs.

·         Supervising subcontractor team according to daily PTW.

·         Ordering specialist components, fixtures or fittings.

·         Updating existing and creating new maintenance procedures.
