Join Our Team as a Cyber Security Specialist at Detech!

Do you possess the technical expertise to defend against modern cyber threats? Detech, a leading cyber Security distributor, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (master’s preferred)
  • Fluency in English (advanced level) (TOEFL, IELTS preferred)
  • At least 3+ year proven experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or a related role.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, protocols, and technologies.
  • Expertise in conducting security assessments.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • At least 1+ Experience working with minimum one of these in designing, implementing, and managing solutions: Forcepoint, Symantec, Trellix, GTB,  Digital Guardian
  • At least 2+ years of experience and in-depth technical knowledge in data security.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or others are a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data leaks and security breaches and develop solutions to these issues.
  • Resident on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to assess their existing cyber security measures and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage advanced security tools and technologies to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging threats to ensure proactive security measures.
  • Providing product consultancy and making customer/partner visits with the sales team.
  • To prepare the relevant teams technically for meetings, presentations, and negotiations with customers and to participate when necessary.
  • To work on the correct evaluation of customer needs and the preparation of appropriate analyzes to reach a solution.
  • To answer the technical questions and problems of the customers/partners with the principle of customer/partner satisfaction.
  • Searching for new products for the company portfolio, technically bringing the appropriate products to the institution.
  • Providing problem management support for customer problems and analyzing the problems to create and implement corrective and preventive action plans for quick solutions to similar problems in the future.
