Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• 1-4 years of experience in P&C insurance within an actuarial department or in a consulting role, with exposure to insurance loss reserving

• Proficiency in English (strong verbal and written communication skills)

• Experience in data preparation and analysis using at least one of SAS, SQL, Python, 

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel (including Power Query)

• Experience with reserving software (e.g., ResQ) is a plus

• Progressing through actuarial exams with a commitment to obtaining actuarial certification

• Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

• Strong team player with effective communication skills and a solution-oriented approach

• Ability to work within both local and group reporting structures and collaborate with group-wide actuarial teams

Job Description

• Prepare data for actuarial analyses; ensuring data is consistent, reconciled, and checked for reasonableness

• Support actuarial analysis, automation efforts to enhance reporting and decision-making processes

• Assist in technical provisions calculations and reserving processes, ensuring compliance with local and group reporting requirements

• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory reports for actuarial functions, ensuring compliance with Internal Systems Regulation

• Contribute to actuarial tasks related to IFRS 17 compliance

• Participate in group actuarial projects, assisting in the development of actuarial frameworks at the group level
