Summary

The Accounting Specialist oversees the financial transactions of the plant and reports to the Finance Manager. This role is responsible for managing all accounting processes and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Duties And Responsibilities

  •        Process and record financial transactions in accordance with national and international accounting standards.
  •        Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  •        Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
  •        Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  •       Ensure tax compliance and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities when required.
  •        Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  •        Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  •        Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
  •         Provide financial insights to support management in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  •        Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  •         Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  •        Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations,
  •        Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  •         Experience in working within an international team and ability to communicate effectively.
  •        Microsoft 365 Dynamics experience is a plus.
  •        Fluent in English (min. B2).
  •        CPA (Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavir) certification is an advantage.
