This role will be based in Istanbul and on site. Early morning and/or late evening shifts may apply.

Your mission, should you choose to accept:

• Execution of overseas clients’ orders to help optimize their price exposure within our risk and compliance framework
• Assisting with supply chain activities where necessary 
• Managing booking of the client activity
• Following business procedures and corporate compliance requirements 
• Fully complying with origination procedures 
• Executing day-to-day and intraday strategies as per the needs provided by the customers 
• Taking active part in developing and executing of automated origination 
• Optimizing portfolios and exploiting the synergies between them
• Conducting market analysis to find new business opportunities and build strategies to exploit them
• Obtaining expert understanding of the key drivers of the commodity markets and discretionary/systematic trading practices
• Taking responsibility for optimizing our daily procedures
• Providing open and honest feedback 
• Constantly reviewing and reflecting on your own work to look for ways to improve individual and team performance
  
  

What you´ll need: 

• University Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Information Technologies, Business Administration, Engineering (or in any other quantitative field or formation) 
• At least 2 years of work experience 
• Interest in commodity markets, energy systems and computer systems is preferable but not essential
• Former experience as an analyst or an operator in Commodity, Energy, Insurance, IT industries is preferable but not essential
• Excellent numerical skills 
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent time management skills supported with punctuality, accuracy and attention to detail
• Focus on results
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Proficiency in Excel and programming skills (VBA, Python, R, C++) is a plus
• Willingness to commit long-term 
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours and in shift structure
