Research and Development Engineer (Knitting)

We are looking for an Research and Development Engineer - Knitting(Textile) to be employed in the R&D department of our corporate client operating in the textile industry with foreign capital.
Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with knitting machines.
• Must have knowledge in both knitting and R&D.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong social and communication skills for effective interaction on technical topics.
• Knowledge of quality management, Six Sigma techniques, and project management is an advantage.
• Data-driven mindset, attention to detail, and accuracy in numerical work.
• Responsible, committed to deadlines, and proactive approach.
• No travel restrictions; frequent travel abroad, particularly to Belgium, is required.

All candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Kapaklı, or Lüleburgaz regions.

Job Description   

1. Plan and oversee the progress of knitting projects in collaboration with the R&D coordinator.
2. Assist in developing products, technologies, and global processes in the field of R&D knitting.
3. Support the central R&D Knitting Engineer, participate in cross-team meetings, and collaborate on projects.
4. Work with central R&D teams to select new materials, new equipment, and develop innovative ideas.
5. Prepare technical details of projects and initiate new ideas and projects.
6. Ensure the technical implementation of approved work plans and manage projects within set deadlines and resources.
7. Contribute to innovations and developments related to knitting machines.
8. Have a vision for developing sustainable products and processes.
9. Participate in the industrial validation of new products or equipment in the knitting department.
