QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


Key Accountabilities 
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the hotel, immediate community, and Istanbul.
  • Welcome guests and assist guests in getting in and out of vehicles.
  • Maintain close guest contact, and when receiving guest feedback, ensure to elevate feedback to the Management team for recovery to exceed guest expectations, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles.
  • Assist guests in arranging transportation to and from the airport/station or any destination.  
  • Ability to give information and directions about Istanbul to guests and to drivers.
  General Requirements  
  • Thorough knowledge of customer service techniques, with a passion to deliver excellent experiences.  
  • Confident conversationalist always engaging with guests and colleagues.
  • Excellent time management and organization, ability to multi-task, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
  • Flexibility and capability of working under pressure. Highly committed, passionate, and able to work in different shifts.   
  • Fluent English and Turkish communication proficiency. Expertise in a different language would be desirable.
