QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Titan International is looking to recruit a Technical Executive to join our rapidly expanding European Tyre Team.
Qualifications
• Experience in Tyre Industry – proven knowledge in the tyre industry, specifically within the agro-industrial sector
• Technical knowledge – In depth understanding of tyre manufacturing processes and technical issues.
• Problem solving skills – Ability to identify and resolve warranty and technical issues effectively
• Communication Skills – Good English skills both written and verbal with strong customer facing abilities.
• Interpersonal skills – ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Attention to detail - high level of accuracy in documentation and technical recommendations
• Organization – Ability to organize and manage own time effectively.
• Collaboration - Competent and confident to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels – Management, Suppliers, customers, end users.
• Quality - Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems would be useful
• Tyre Regulations - Knowledge of current and forthcoming Tyre Regulations
Duties and Responsibilities
Product Development:
• Work with manufacturing plant for Goodyear's agricultural/industrial tire development project within Turkey.
• To identify market opportunities in Europe for new tread patterns/sizes and segments
• To help define and manage any production, design or technical changes required for existing Türkiye-produced tires.
• Tire Testing – organizing and analyzing any testing required to ensure that tyres meet the required standards
• Tyre Manufactuiring Expertise – Utilize your solid experience in the tyre industry to work with our manufacturing faciliies
Customer Satisfaction:
• Warranty Management – Address and track warranty issues, making visits when necessary, providing solutions to end users and and suggesting manufacturing adjustments to prevent technical problems.
• Analyzing after-sales customer complaints and requests.
• Conducting root cause analysis of warranty issues.
• Coordinating and monitoring corrective/preventative actions to reduce customer complaints.
• Customer Interaction – Engage with customers and suppliers offering expert advice and support to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
Sales-Marketing:
• Support Titan Europe Sales team with Technical Sales Support to customers
• To collect competitor information in terms of quality, performance and product range.
• Participating in domestic/international sectoral fairs, seminars and conferences in order to conduct benchmark studies, follow the developments in the market, and conduct competitor analysis.
Technical Support:
· Providing and verifying the necessary technical data for catalogs and websites.
· Supervising ECE R-106 Regulations and organizational setup
· Carrying out various studies to reduce product costs and increase efficiency.
· Organizing and providing technical training when necessary
· Technical Support – provide technical assistance and recommendations to enhance tyre performance and longevity
· Qualıty Assurance – Ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
· Documentation – Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, customer interactions and technical recommendations.
