Group & Banquet Sales Manager

Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Asia, our 5-star hotel operating in Ataşehir, Istanbul, will be assigned in the Sales department;

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least two years experience in an international hotel chain with a similar position
• Bachelor’s degree of Tourism & Hotel Management is preferred. MA degree is a plus.
• Good communication and diction skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Turkish
• Administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
• Good Team leader
• Self-motivated
• Knowledge of competitive market
• Computer Competency; MS Office applications and software packages of sales department. Knowledge of Opera software programme is a plus,
• Having no restrictions to travel, B type active driving license is a plus.
• Having no military obligation for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Being fully conversant in Groups & Banquet tasks
• Having responsiblity to take care of the groups, meeting and banquet business
• Being in contact with guests to make sure they are satisfied with the service
• generating and developing new business
• Supporting sales team in promotional activities
• Achieving maximum profits from group, conference and banqueting sales
• Planning, soliciting and booking groups to enable the hotel to meet and/or exceed revenue goals in rooms and food & beverage
• Attending trade shows, community events and industry events
• Maintaining knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
• Providing feedback and reports to the Director of Sales.
